about
Took my first photograph in 1974 when I was 11 years old.
Used for the first time an analog reflex photo camera in 1979.
Switched to digital in 2008.
Picked up again my analog camera in 2019 and started with large format (4x5”) and medium format (6x6cm).
Co-founder of Photography club "Het Verdickt" in January 2013.
Do not take a photograph before asking yourself: what do I want to say with this picture?
Composition and light are very important in my photographs.
Still trying to read the light.
The challenge is to turn a dull or even ugly scenery into an interesting and beautiful picture, not to make a nice postcard.
