trees on dike

Proud, straight trees standing tall - or trying to do so - on a dike.
I wanted the trees to be 'transparent', so the leaves had to be still small.
The trees and (a part of) the dikes are the only two main subjects. No clouds; they would only distract the viewer.
So I waited until the beginning of April and headed out on a sunny day without clouds in the sky.
I also tried to show the trees in a serene atmosphere.
All pictures are taken near Clinge, the village I live in, situated in the southwest of the Netherlands.
